the top ten things i learned in ghana - 10

from absolutely everyone, there is something to be learned

Though solitude can sometimes be nice, company is more refining.

Perhaps it's just me, but I have a terrible tendency to think that for some reason I'm a master at everything I do.  I forget that just because I've done something once or twice or a hundred times, there is always room for improvement.

Let's just say that it is one of my biggest weaknesses.

From the girls that I traveled with I learned so many things. It was like a list of how to's presented by living examples.

How to:
capture better images
relax
be thorough and detail oriented
love and miss those I'd left behind
be grateful
enjoy life
allow things and people to change who I am for the better
be accepting
embrace people for who they are
be my brother's keeper
be encouraging
see the beauty in everything

These two women are both such incredible people.

Relationships are tutors for selflessness and charity.

The people around me show me different ways to think and be.    It's through the reflection of myself that I see in them that I can begin to recognize what I need to change.
