Week 2!

So I used about 20 minutes of my email time trying to figure out how to get it to work and now I only have 10 minutes left... so here goes! This week has been humbling, that is for sure. I've come to find that the more I try to remember things at home, like TV shows, music, and movies, the harder it is for me to feel the Spirit. I've had to just let all of those things get brushed by and not think about them, otherwise I can't focus at all. A real testimony builder that A) worldly things bring you down and B) Elders should not leave girlfriends at home. The Elders that have girlfriends seem to not be able to keep up with the rest of us. I have already grown so much while I've been here. I've learned so much about the Gospel! Hermana Cozzens and I are getting along great. We've tried to help each other to get into the habit of eating slower, so we've started thinking of topics to talk about while we are at lunch. It's pretty fun. We go off on tangents and before we know it, it's time to get back to class. Spanish is coming along well. I've been blessed by the Gift of Tongues, that is for sure. I can already hold a minor conversation and understand
everything that my teachers say to me in Spanish. I always pray in Spanish now and I don't know that I'll ever pray in any other way! The time just flies around here. It feels like Wednesday when it's really Friday and then before I know it, I've been here for two weeks! I love you all! Hermana Cooper
