Zachary: somebody really cool that also happens to be my brother

On my plane to New York from London I sat next to a girl that had taken a vacation all by herself.  She'd met up with a few people while in Europe, but for the most part was going from place to place all by herself.

When I asked her what she learned from the experience, she told me this: that you can go around and see amazing things, but it's the people you are with that make adventures worth while.

I think I had a very similar experience.  I missed my family a lot while I was gone.  But especially my little brother, Zachary.

Yes, I am taking advantage of this opportunity to pay a tribute to him.

There are some people in this world that make me recognize that I could be so much better than I am.  Zachary is that for me.  The kid has overcome so many things and has no bitterness against the people that have done horrible things to him.  He's honest with himself and the people around him.  He's got more wisdom in his 18-year-old head than I ever had.  He's got me wrapped around his finger.

If I were to ever go back to Europe, I'd bring him with me.
